trip to Valentine Willie Fine Art Gallery

That's Snow and me...erm..how I blend in with the floor! My Gosh! Anyway, Snow was my ex-tutor back in my old days and she was and still is, a truly gifted designer. She is the manager of VWFS and This won't be the last time we will be seeing her. I am sure.

Hey guys! Its been fun wasn't it? I was for me. It wasn't just the pictures and the uniqueness of it all but rather the sense of being part of something really great. Art is like that. When you apreciate it, you are a part of it. We become very much what our thoughts tell us. Its that intangible element that manifests into an art form. The exhibition we saw today presented the a different approach to human values. A picture doesn't just paint a thousand words but more like precious words, because expression like that never comes easily.

Weekend with meaning!
Hey all,
Its been a long weekend, I have been busy with family! I actually went to the park with them today and gueass what, i actually flew a kite! can you guys believe that? For the first time, i did! I was in deep jubilant glee! hehehe! Anyway, hope you are all having a peaceful wekkend, if you are not then, my only advice is to hang in there. You know, creativity is about believing in yourself. Its about having faith in you. As humans who aspire to better ourselves, we tend to have wishes and dreams.
That's okay because its gives us something to believe in. It gives us faith in ourselves. If you can imagine yourself achieving something no matter how far-fetched it is, then let that be your dream and your vision. You can't see it yet but hey, faith is all about the unseen! so have faith in yourself. Let it motivate you always to keep up the effort, speak to you in times of trial and open your mind to alternative ideas. Discipline does knock on your door but, if you have a vision to believe in, discipline will never be an issue.
So my fellow apprentices, take heart, although you have far to go, it will not be in vain. Your journey of self discovery has only just begun. I will see you all soon.

All that jazz
Hey All! Guess what, I have visit EMO bookstore and met my old buddy David. He gave a few books and some catalogues. Most of the books are new titles but three of them I would love to recommend as your official reference. This one here is the History of Graphic Design which I would recommend to Graphic Design students. Multimedia students, I have books on motions graphics, film-making and drawing for animation. These are new titles. Well, we will see these in class soon. You know, I used to think that there is no need to buy reference books. But who can really stop you from acquiring knowledge? What is important here is to buy books that touch on fundamentals and history. Sometimes, proven methodology and successful designs can inspire you to be better designers.
